Say hello to ReadyChek Axle™ AI — the help assistant now built directly into the ReadyChek web portal and mobile app. Instead of hunting through a manual or waiting on a support callback, you ask a question in plain English and get a straight answer, right on the page you are already working on.

Axle™ is trained on the complete ReadyChek documentation library and on the regulations our customers live by every day, so it can answer both “how do I do this in ReadyChek?” and “what does the law actually require?” in the same conversation.

Where to Find Axle™

  • Web Portal: Click the Ask Axle™ AI button in the top navigation bar, or the help (?) icon in the corner of a page, and the Axle™ chat panel slides in from the right — without navigating away or losing your place.

  • Mobile App (iOS & Android): Tap the help (?) button on screens such as the Daily Log to open the Axle™ assistant, complete with one-tap suggestion chips for the most common questions.

  • Public Website Pages: Axle™ is also available to visitors who have not signed in yet, so prospective customers can get their questions answered before they ever create an account.

The Axle™ AI chat panel open on the right side of the ReadyChek web portal, showing the greeting message, a user question asking about the 13-hour driving and 14-hour on-duty limits, and Axle's formatted answer with headings and bolded limits

It Knows Which Page You Are On

Axle™ is page-aware. When you open it from the Dashboard, the Inspections list, or the Daily Log, it already knows the context you are working in — so “how do I fix this?” gets an answer about the screen in front of you rather than a generic overview.

That context is a starting point, not a fence. You are always free to ask about anything else — pricing, a feature on another page, or a regulation question that has nothing to do with the current screen — and Axle™ will answer it fully.

Every Question Starts Fresh

One thing worth knowing before you start: Axle™ does not remember your previous questions. Each question is answered on its own, with the page you are viewing as its only extra context — the earlier back-and-forth is not carried forward.

You will still see the full exchange in the chat panel and can scroll back through everything you have asked. That transcript is there for you. It is not sent along with your next question, so Axle™ never sees it.

What that means in practice:

  • Ask complete questions. Instead of a follow-up like “what about trailers?”, ask “what are the inspection requirements for trailers?”

  • Repeat the specifics. If your first question was about a Schedule 1 inspection and your next one depends on that, say so again rather than assuming Axle™ still has it in mind.

  • Nothing carries over. Closing the panel, moving to another page, or coming back tomorrow all start you clean — and nothing you asked earlier will colour a later answer.

What Axle™ Can Help With

  • Using ReadyChek: Dashboards, Hours of Service logs, vehicle and trailer inspections, Checklists, drivers and users, assets, reports, billing, and the mobile driver workflow.

  • Hours of Service: The 13-hour driving and 14-hour on-duty limits, mandatory off-duty time, duty status changes, the 24-hour graph grid, and log certification.

  • Compliance & Regulations: Ontario CVOR requirements, MTO schedules, NSC Standard 13 inspections, and the 160 km short-haul exemption under Section 23 of Ontario Regulation 555/06.

Answers You Can Actually Trust

Axle™ is grounded in the official ReadyChek documentation library — the same portal guides, mobile app guides, and full Ontario CVOR Safety Manual we publish. Every question retrieves the relevant guide content first, and the answer is built from it.

  • No invented answers. Axle™ is explicitly instructed not to guess, and to cite the references that back up what it tells you.

  • Real screenshots. When a guide includes a screenshot of the exact screen or dialog you asked about, Axle™ shows you that image inline. Tap or click it to open it full size.

  • Formatted for reading. Responses come back with headings, bold steps, bullet lists, and reference tables — and on mobile they are deliberately kept short and scannable for a driver standing beside a truck.

Tell Us When It Gets It Right (or Wrong)

Every Axle™ answer carries a thumbs up and thumbs down button. That rating is sent straight back to our team and is used to improve the documentation and the assistant. If an answer missed the mark, one click is all the feedback we need.

Axle™ can make mistakes, and it is not a replacement for our support team. Every response includes a reminder that you can reach a human at 226-573-8131 or support@readychek.com whenever you need one.

Try It Today

Axle™ AI is live now. Sign in to the ReadyChek Web Portal and click Ask Axle™ AI in the header, or update the mobile app and tap the help (?) button on your Daily Log. Ask it anything — that is exactly what it is there for.
